Sarah Blazeby - Flute
Sarah read music at York University, graduating in 1997 with BA (hons). Sarah continued her studies with Peter Lloyd and Pat Morris at the Royal Northern College of Music and was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance Studies. During her time at the RNCM Sarah received a scholarship from the Countess of Munster Musical Trust. After graduating, Sarah played principal flute with Southbank Sinfonia, performing at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Windsor Castle and the Royal Opera House. Sarah is now pursuing a freelance career, as chamber and orchestral musician. She has played with the BBC Philharmonic, Halle Orchestra and Welsh National Opera in a variety of concerts and recordings, at such venues as the Bridgewater Hall, Glyndebourne and the Royal Albert Hall for the Proms.

Jon Fistein - cello
Jon Fistein began playing the cello aged four and gained his performance Diploma from the Guildhall School of Music while still at school. He read medicine at Jesus College, Cambridge, where he was awarded an Instrumental Exhibition, and was subsequently awarded a Scholarship at the Royal College of Music. These allowed him to continue his cello studies with Alexander Baillie, Amaryllis Fleming, William Pleeth and Stefan Popov. He continues to play professionally and is in demand as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral free-lancer. He has given numerous recitals in the UK and Europe. John Rogers - Viola/violin
John won an Associated Board Scholarship to study the viola at the Royal College of Music and whilst there won prizes in both chamber music and solo competitions. He was awarded a scholarship to study with Yizhak Schotten at the University of Michigan and performed at festivals including Tanglewood, Grand Teton and Aspen. He has held principal positions with the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and English Touring Opera and freelances with the Academy of St Martin’s in the Fields, the Philharmonia, Royal Ballet Sinfonia, BBC Symphony and BBC Concert Orchestras. He teaches the violin at the Perse School for Girls and is a deputy teacher at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His chamber ensembles have featured in recorded radio broadcasts in New Zealand, Hong Kong and the U.S.
